I Will Stop Procrastinating Tomorrow

Updated: Jan 23, 2020

First off, a confession: I have enjoyed procrastination from time to time. It can be easy to put off until tomorrow something that I just don't feel like doing right now, especially when there's some new movie available on Netflix or a good book waiting for me. the truth is that procrastinating doesn't really work, the task or unpleasant duty will still be there later and may even be more uncomfortable by then. In the time between now and when we finally get around to doing the task or dealing with the issue, we think about it, we worry about it, we feel uneasy about it. So, instead of dealing with the issue and moving on, we actually spend a lot more of our time and energy on it.

If you really want to stop procrastinating today, hypnotherapy can help a lot. After all, it is our unconscious mind that talks us into putting the task or issue off until tomorrow. As we have discussed, hypnotherapy is the use of hypnosis (deep relaxation) for therapeutic reasons and improve our life. In a deeply relaxed state, the unconscious mind can choose to tackle tasks quickly and efficiently. At the same time, the unconscious mind can learn to deal with issues in a timely manner.

The benefit of addressing this issue in hypnosis is that it is quick, comfortable, and easy. The individual can still choose to do tasks and address issues quickly so that they have more time to do other things they want to do free of pressure and guilt. Without the delayed issues festering in the back of the mind, the individual can enjoy their activities more fully. They can be more creative, more excited, more involved in the things they are doing.
